Problem
I've got a nasty problem with intersection of complex surfaces.
Published a question on Sketchucation forum. Will wait for some time for response from them.

Modelling the german u-boat VIIC
It is a very first steps in modelling of the german submarine (u-boat) VIIC in 3D. I use Google SketcUp as a modelling tool.
My goal is to prepare an authentic 3D model of the VIIC submarine first. Then unwrap it piece by piece into the paper model.
There are several popular commercial models out of plastics. Revell kit is one of them. Been implemented in 1:72 scale it is the most detailed, famous and popular one (in the plastic modellers' world, eventually). There is a special extension for the Revell's model: the submarine interior. I never saw it finished, but one on the guys in our modeller's club (IPMS, Cape Town), showed the interior kit, bought in England. He, been a highly experienced modeller, still doubts to start building of that model.
Anyway, I am a paper modeller, which means that all my modeld are built out of paper. To make the long story short, I want to implement a model of VIIC u-boat with entire compartment details in it. Let's see how it goes...
