  4. hello there,

I am aware this is a 6 year old blogpost, so probably a dead blogpost... but where/how did you get the plans for the Type IID UBoot?
do you still have these plans in your posession, do you have the 3d model still and would you be willing to share either or?
I cannot seem to find a proper Type IID Uboot schematic and plan source material anywhere, if anyone can help me, reply below here or send me a message)...

easiest way to contact me would be via Discord chat: "ДѴДЯЦS LЦЖ#2554"

ps, that 3d model looks absolutely superb, would love to give it a try and 3d print similar if i manage to get the needed data...

    1. Hi,

Thanks for reading/looking at this old old stuff. I remember that I've collected plenty of plans, pics, historical photos just searching on Internet. There was not much materials about type II subs (and much more for type VII uboat).
I'd like to help, but unfortunately the old computer I was doing this project died with all the information, plans, my 3D- designs and so on. However, back in 2014, when this project was frozen, I've managed to implement in paper almost all compartment, without engines though ;-). Will make some pics later.

    2. you're welcome and thank you for your answer, i myself have had a similar event happen to me when my data HDD and its backup drives crashed at the same time during a scheduled backup, lost a lot of information, images, documents and models that way too.

indeed not much info on the type II series as it's not that popular so i hoped you may have had some additional info, ah well, will continue ever onwards :)
